Wow. Toughest day by far today. It was a 73 mile day with a slight incline almost the whole way with a headwind and crosswind. That does not allow for any coasting whatsoever!  It was a grind with little scenery. The tumbleweed was blowing all over. I had to stop at one point to pull some out of my wheel. Two answers for Mr. Tallman's class--about mental preparation--the staff of the tour is amazing. They take great care of us so all we have to think about is the ride. The Center of the World is a verybizarre place built by a man from France.
